About The Strength Class
Our Strength sessions are recommended for:
- Adults of any age and experience level – with dedicated sessions for beginners on Sundays
- Anyone wanting to follow structured training to achieve faster gains in strength
- Runners, cyclists or anyone who gets their cardio in other ways already
- People who hate cardio!
How it works
All sessions are led by a qualified coach who will take you through a structured pre-programmed session.
We practice 1 main lift each day (e.g. squat on Mondays, deadlift on Tuesdays) with the aim of improving our strength and technique in that chosen lift over an 8-12 week cycle.
The rest of the session will include a variety of whole-body exercises, helping to simultaneously improve your balance, power and core strength.
To better understand what we do, check out our reviews below or come for a free taster session on a day that suits you.
Common Questions
Got questions? We have the answers! Here’s a list of FAQs to help you out.
How does membership work?
All our memberships allow access to any cardio club, strength and/or olympic weightlifting class.
You can either pay monthly (best value and there are no contracts so you can cancel anytime if needed)
Or, if you don’t think you can make it every week, then you can purchase a block of 5 or 10 pay-as-you-go sessions.
All prices can be found here.
What are the current membership prices?
All prices can be found here.
Are classes suitable for beginners?
Absolutely! As a beginner you are welcome to try any of our classes, although our dedicated beginner sessions on Sundays would be the best place to start if you are able to join us then.
How do I book a free taster?
Simply head to our booking system which can be found here, create an account, then go to the Schedule page to choose a day/time that works for you.
What should I wear/bring?
You can wear anything you are comfortable moving in.
For Strength we recommend a shoe with a firmer sole e.g. converse.
For Olympic weightlifting, specialist weightlifting shoes are recommended if you already have them. Don’t forget a water bottle to stay hydrated!
